Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View Of Alkmaar, Looking Towards The Zeglis by Lambert Doomer was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,459.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Lambert Doomer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2017 the work The Rhine Near Hammerstein, With Andernach, Seen From The North was auctioned for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,054.63).
