This artwork by Lambert Doomer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2008. In the Old Master Pictures auction, the work Herdsmen and their cattle resting in a grotto sold for EUR 17,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lambert Doomer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Rhine Near Hammerstein, With Andernach, Seen From The North, which sold at auction in July 2017 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,054.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lambert Doomer erzielte im November 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Pictures wurde die Arbeit Herdsmen and their cattle resting in a grotto für EUR 17.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lambert Doomer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Rhine Near Hammerstein, With Andernach, Seen From The North beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.054,63) versteigert wurde.
