Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The three muses by Beatrice Campbell was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2000. The price achieved of GBP 11,750.00 (€ 18,854.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Beatrice Campbell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Intruder, which sold at auction in September 2018 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 53,348.61).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.750,00 (€ 18.854,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Beatrice Campbell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Intruder beobachtet, die im September 2018 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 53.348,61) versteigert wurde.
