Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Irish Art, which included the work The Pirate’S Return by Beatrice Campbell. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,090.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Beatrice Campbell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Intruder in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 53,348.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Pirate’S Return von Beatrice Campbell zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.090,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Beatrice Campbell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Intruder im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 53.348,61).
