Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Livre de Buffets. Paris: Huquier, ca.1750. by Jacques de Lajoue was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2013. It achieved a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,651.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques de Lajoue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The interior of a baroque palace with elegant company conversing by fountains in December 2001 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 149,906.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Livre de Buffets. Paris: Huquier, ca.1750. von Jacques de Lajoue kam im Juni 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.651,04) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques de Lajoue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The interior of a baroque palace with elegant company conversing by fountains im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 149.906,78).
