Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Time-Wait for by Kwon Ki-Soo. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,479.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Kwon Ki-Soo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work Red Table was auctioned for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 27,267.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Time-Wait for von Kwon Ki-Soo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.479,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Kwon Ki-Soo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2012 die Arbeit Red Table für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 27.267,49) versteigert.
