Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Visual Poetry by Kwon Hyun-Jin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 88,200.00 (€ 10,664.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kwon Hyun-Jin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Visual Poetry Pixel Series #696, which sold at auction in June last year for HKD 277,200.00 (€ 33,733.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Visual Poetry von Kwon Hyun-Jin kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 88.200,00 (€ 10.664,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kwon Hyun-Jin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Visual Poetry Pixel Series #696 beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für HKD 277.200,00 (€ 33.733,19) versteigert wurde.
