The work Supreme Buddha Ii by Kwok Hon Sum was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2008. The »bidding war« ended at USD 28,000.00 (€ 17,715.91), 27% above the upper estimate. With this result, Supreme Buddha Ii is even the most expensive work of art by Kwok Hon Sum that we have observed at auctions so far.
