In June 2017 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Self-portrait by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,411.01), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with lilac in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 9,286,250.00 (€ 10,439,122.20).
