Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Seated Boy by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin was sold in the Russian Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,828.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with lilac in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 9,286,250.00 (€ 10,439,122.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Seated Boy von Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.828,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still life with lilac im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.286.250,00 (€ 10.439.122,20).
