This artwork by Kurt Hüpfner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in 19 - in September this year. In the Heatwave: Online Auction auction, the work Two works: (i) Kleines Biwak; (ii) Kleines Biwak sold for GBP 12,700.00 (€ 12,700.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kurt Hüpfner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Böiger Tag sold at auction in July last year with the realized price of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 15,046.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kurt Hüpfner erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 19 - einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Two works: (i) Kleines Biwak; (ii) Kleines Biwak für GBP 12.700,00 (€ 12.700,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kurt Hüpfner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Böiger Tag im Juli letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 15.046,64).
