Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Salvation of Astro Boy by Kuo Wei Kuo was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 312,000.00 (€ 29,708.76). Other works by Kuo Wei Kuo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 607,500.00 (€ 53,106.62) in November 2007 for the work Angel.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Salvation of Astro Boy von Kuo Wei Kuo wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 312.000,00 (€ 29.708,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Kuo Wei Kuo haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 607.500,00 (€ 53.106,62) im November 2007 für die Arbeit Angel beobachtet.
