A top price for Kuang Zhongying - as previously expected
The work Bird On Branch by Kuang Zhongying was sold in the The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 29,500.00 (€ 3,409.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bird On Branch is the most expensive artwork by Kuang Zhongying that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Bird On Branch von Kuang Zhongying wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 29.500,00 (€ 3.409,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bird On Branch das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kuang Zhongying, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
