Auction result well in line with expectations
The work From the series "Sex" by Kristina Matousch was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 8,500.00 (€ 719.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kristina Matousch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Periferi I.J.", which sold at auction in April this year for SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,502.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit From the series "Sex" von Kristina Matousch kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 8.500,00 (€ 719,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Kristina Matousch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Periferi I.J." beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.502,90) versteigert wurde.
