Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Skiftningar inuti bilden av ett namn" by Kristina Bength was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,928.39). Other works by Kristina Bength have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2016 by the work "Amanda Kristina Pedersen’s Physionomical Inquiries #5". at SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,445.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Skiftningar inuti bilden av ett namn" von Kristina Bength im Oktober 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.928,39) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Kristina Bength wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2016 die Arbeit "Amanda Kristina Pedersen’s Physionomical Inquiries #5". mit SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.445,71).
