In the Contemporary Photographs auction, the work Untitled Film Still (Cindy Sherman 1978) (from The History of Photography Remix) sold for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,635.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kota Ezawa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 3-D Movies from History of Photography Remix sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,980.85).
