Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work LYAM 3D by Kota Ezawa for GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,898.73). This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kota Ezawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 3-D Movies from History of Photography Remix, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,980.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit LYAM 3D von Kota Ezawa für GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.898,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kota Ezawa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 3-D Movies from History of Photography Remix beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.980,85) versteigert wurde.
