In June 2019 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Twilight. Evening landscape with a lilac bush on the right by Konstantin Somov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,293.34), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Somov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Boxer in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 832,646.34).

Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Twilight. Evening landscape with a lilac bush on the right von Konstantin Somov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.293,34) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Somov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Boxer im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 832.646,34).
