The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,016.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Konstantinovich Kuznetsov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tsar Sultan'S Warning in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,092.57).
