Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled -A Girl's Imaginative World & Mimio Sculpture by Tomoko Konoike was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. It achieved a price of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 12,496.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomoko Konoike achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chapter Three "Wreck" in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,060,000.00 (€ 214,010.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled -A Girl's Imaginative World & Mimio Sculpture von Tomoko Konoike kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 12.496,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomoko Konoike erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chapter Three "Wreck" im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.060.000,00 (€ 214.010,83).
