Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Running Script by Kong Jisu. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,536.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Kong Jisu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2021 the work Su Shi'S Inscription In Running Script was auctioned for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 4,721.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Kong Jisu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.536,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kong Jisu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2021 die Arbeit Su Shi'S Inscription In Running Script für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 4.721,60) versteigert.
