This artwork by Kong Jisu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Tang Poems In Running Script sold for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,560.81) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kong Jisu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Su Shi'S Inscription In Running Script sold at auction in April 2021 with the realized price of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 4,721.60).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kong Jisu erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Tang Poems In Running Script für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.560,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 18.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kong Jisu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Su Shi'S Inscription In Running Script im April 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 4.721,60).
