Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Kong Decheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. In the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy In Regucar Script sold for HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,016.71) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kong Decheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Jiaguwen in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,780.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kong Decheng erzielte im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regucar Script für HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.016,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kong Decheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Jiaguwen im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.780,24).
