Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Post-War & Contemporary ArtFeaturing a Selection of Modern & Contemporary African Art auction, the work Women carrying goods and a child changed hands for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,351.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kofi Antubam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Akan Akoyeame (Spokesman), which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 3,812.50 (€ 4,233.46).
