Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mother and child cooking by Kofi Antubam was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 969.00 (€ 1,081.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kofi Antubam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Akan Akoyeame (Spokesman), which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 3,812.50 (€ 4,233.46).
