Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Music abstraction" by Knut Lundström was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 350,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 360,000.00 (€ 35,545.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Knut Lundström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Ackord" (Chords in D minor) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 1,350,000.00 (€ 157,003.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Music abstraction" von Knut Lundström wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 350.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 360.000,00 (€ 35.545,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Knut Lundström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Ackord" (Chords in D minor) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.350.000,00 (€ 157.003,40).
