Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Head of a bear by Klavdi Vasilievich Lebedev was sold in the Important Silver, Russian Works of Art and Paintings auction at Christies in London in November 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,629.00 (€ 3,773.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Klavdi Vasilievich Lebedev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The jester and the gusli player in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 66,000.00 (€ 96,962.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Head of a bear von Klavdi Vasilievich Lebedev wurde im November 2003 in der Auktion Important Silver, Russian Works of Art and Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert.
