Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kitty Lange Kielland could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Mountain landscape changed hands for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,215.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kitty Lange Kielland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior with two women, one sitting by the window and one reading on the couch in September this year with an auction result of DKK 280,000.00 (€ 37,539.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kitty Lange Kielland konnte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wechselte die Arbeit Mountain landscape für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.215,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kitty Lange Kielland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior with two women, one sitting by the window and one reading on the couch im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 280.000,00 (€ 37.539,68).
