Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Kitti Narod achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in 29 June - in July this year. In the Let Loose: Online Auction auction, the work without title sold for HKD 254,000.00 (€ 29,548.82) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kitti Narod - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Pool, which sold at auction in March this year for HKD 609,600.00 (€ 71,377.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kitti Narod erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 29 June - einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Let Loose: Online Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 254.000,00 (€ 29.548,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kitti Narod mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Pool beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für HKD 609.600,00 (€ 71.377,92) versteigert wurde.
