This artwork by Kitti Narod achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction, the work Trumpeters sold for HKD 163,800.00 (€ 17,792.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kitti Narod have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pool in March this year with an auction result of HKD 609,600.00 (€ 71,377.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kitti Narod erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction wurde die Arbeit Trumpeters für HKD 163.800,00 (€ 17.792,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kitti Narod auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pool im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 609.600,00 (€ 71.377,92).
