It achieved a price of USD 9,400.00 (€ 10,689.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kitagawa Utamaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'amour évident (Arawaruru koi), portrait en buste (okubi-e) d'une jeune femme s'arrangeant une épingle à cheveux sur fond micacé, de la série Anthologie de poèmes: la section de l'amour, (Kasen koi no bu in May 2018 with an auction result of EUR 381,000.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.400,00 (€ 10.689,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57%.
