Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art and Photography from Africa and the Diaspora, which included this untitled work by Kingsley Obasi. The price achieved of USD 7,650.00 (€ 7,498.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Kingsley Obasi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October last year the work Sans titre, 2021 was auctioned for EUR 10,496.00.

Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art and Photography from Africa and the Diaspora durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kingsley Obasi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.650,00 (€ 7.498,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden.
