Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Two Figures by Kim Heung Sou. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,388.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kim Heung Sou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Two figures) in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 313,000.00 (€ 220,128.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Figures von Kim Heung Sou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.388,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kim Heung Sou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Two figures) im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 313.000,00 (€ 220.128,00).
