Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kim Heung Sou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 10,666.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 75,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kim Heung Sou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Two figures) in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 313,000.00 (€ 220,128.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kim Heung Sou kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 10.666,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 75.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kim Heung Sou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Two figures) im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 313.000,00 (€ 220.128,00).
