Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction Wired: Online Auction, which included the work Mulholland Series (Ultramarine Wreath) by Kim Gordon. The price achieved of GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,482.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kim Gordon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Numbers #60, which sold at auction in December 2019 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,841.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Wired: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mulholland Series (Ultramarine Wreath) von Kim Gordon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.482,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kim Gordon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Numbers #60 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.841,12) versteigert wurde.
