Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work The Grain-Woman by Kim Duck Yong. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 21,332.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Kim Duck Yong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Time Together was auctioned for HKD 391,500.00 (€ 32,230.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Grain-Woman von Kim Duck Yong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 21.332,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kim Duck Yong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Time Together für HKD 391.500,00 (€ 32.230,82) versteigert.
