Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kikuo Saito could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Wine Morning changed hands for USD 1,187.50 (€ 908.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kikuo Saito have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green Bank in April 2011 with an auction result of EUR 4,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kikuo Saito konnte im Juli 2010 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Wine Morning für USD 1.187,50 (€ 908,64) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kikuo Saito auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green Bank im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.000,00.
