A top price for Khaw Sia
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Still Life With Crabs by Khaw Sia. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,633.50). With this result, Still Life With Crabs is even the most expensive work of art by Khaw Sia that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Crabs von Khaw Sia zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.633,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Still Life With Crabs sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Khaw Sia, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
