Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New Year Feast by Khaw Sia was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,600.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Khaw Sia have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Still Life With Crabs was auctioned for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,633.50).

Die Arbeit New Year Feast von Khaw Sia wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.600,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Khaw Sia konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Still Life With Crabs für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.633,50) versteigert.
