Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (from the Haunted Lotus series) by Khadim Ali was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,400.41). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Khadim Ali - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Rustam Series), which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,704.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (from the Haunted Lotus series) von Khadim Ali kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.400,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Khadim Ali mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Rustam Series) beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.704,08) versteigert wurde.
