Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work ‘Victory’ (‘Ahem ... I Said Ahem!’) by Kevin Kallaugher. The price achieved of GBP 563.00 (€ 641.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Kevin Kallaugher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Thatcher Mirrors Herself On De Gaulle in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,981.18).

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer durch, in der auch die Arbeit ‘Victory’ (‘Ahem ... I Said Ahem!’) von Kevin Kallaugher zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 563,00 (€ 641,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kevin Kallaugher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Thatcher Mirrors Herself On De Gaulle im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.981,18).
