This artwork by Kermit Oswald achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. In the Dear Keith: Works from the Personal Collection of Keith Haring auction, the work without title sold for USD 4,410.00 (€ 3,786.38) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kermit Oswald; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Well sold at auction in October 2020 with the realized price of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,031.85).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kermit Oswald erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dear Keith: Works from the Personal Collection of Keith Haring wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 4.410,00 (€ 3.786,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kermit Oswald; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Well im Oktober 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.031,85).
