In November 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Main Street, Country Town by Kenneth William David Jack. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 7,767.50 (€ 4,871.32), 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kenneth William David Jack - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Evening, Ross, Tasmania, which sold at auction in November 2004 for AUD 19,120.00 (€ 11,136.87).

Im November 2005 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Main Street, Country Town von Kenneth William David Jack zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 7.767,50 (€ 4.871,32) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Kenneth William David Jack mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Evening, Ross, Tasmania beobachtet, die im November 2004 für AUD 19.120,00 (€ 11.136,87) versteigert wurde.
