Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Poppies (unframed) by Kenneth Webb was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. It achieved a price of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,777.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kenneth Webb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppies, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,515.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poppies (unframed) von Kenneth Webb kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.777,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Für andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Webb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poppies beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.515,46) versteigert wurde.
