In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Construction in sequence (in 4 parts: A, B, C and D) sold for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,388.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Martin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chance and Order 18 (Black) in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 103,663.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kenneth Martin erzielte im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Construction in sequence (in 4 parts: A, B, C and D) für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.388,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Martin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chance and Order 18 (Black) im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 103.663,87).
