This artwork by Kenneth Hall achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2002. In the THE IRISH SALE auction, the work Seated Lady sold for GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,760.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by Kenneth Hall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boats in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,039.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kenneth Hall erzielte im Mai 2002 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion THE IRISH SALE wurde die Arbeit Seated Lady für GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.760,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kenneth Hall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boats im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.039,11).
