Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled, 1980's by Kenneth Gustavsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 7,500.00 (€ 737.53). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kenneth Gustavsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 1980's, which sold at auction in April 2021 for SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,671.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled, 1980's von Kenneth Gustavsson im April 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 7.500,00 (€ 737,53) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Gustavsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, 1980's beobachtet, die im April 2021 für SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.671,74) versteigert wurde.
