Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Battle Within by Kelechi Charles Nwaneri. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,271.87), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Kelechi Charles Nwaneri have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 15,046.64) in July last year for the work Battle Within 2.
