The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,762.81), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kaye Donachie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work You Hear Yourself Say Things You Could Never Mean, which sold at auction in March 2011 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,576.04).
