Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale, which included this untitled work by Katharina Grosse. The price achieved of GBP 16,640.00 (€ 19,168.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katharina Grosse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 500,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Katharina Grosse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.640,00 (€ 19.168,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katharina Grosse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 500.000,00.
